There are five key
traits which I believe are of utmost importance for any Virtual Assistant:
Professional
Flexible
Problem solving
Proactive
Dedicated
I've worked with many clients over the last five years and I'd like to think that I have displayed each of the traits above to each and every one of them. For all the clients I have had the pleasure to work with, some projects have only been short term, whilst others are businesses and individuals that I have worked with for years.
It's always satisfying to know that you've really made a difference to them however long the relationship has lasted, but it's especially nice when they put pen to paper to show you just how much you have contributed to their business or their personal life.
I'm lucky to have received some amazing thank you cards, notes and emails, some of which can be seen on my website: https://www.girlfridayharrow.co.uk/testimonials and all of which are kept safely in my 'thank you' box - when you're having a bad day, it's a real boost to sit and go through the contents of this box and be reminded of all the people you have helped throughout the years.
I've now been working with one of my business clients for three years and the CEO was kind enough to send the following communication to the whole team to mark the occasion:
"Steff you've been absolutely transformational throughout the last three years and I couldn't possibly imagine this business without you. You are always there with a solution and always a step ahead . A big personal thank you from me for consistently being willing to take on any task thrown at you, and for caring so much about your work, about us all, and about the business. You are often the unsung hero, and i know you like it that way , but mega, mega thanks for all you do."
I think it's fair to say that I have demonstrated my five key traits with this client!
